趙欣怡,加拿大多倫多大學心理學研究所博士後研究員､國立臺灣科技大學建築博士､國立臺北教育大學藝術研究所碩士｡目前任職於國立中興大學數位人文與文創產業學士學位學程與圖書資訊研究所優聘助理教授兼校史館組長,同時擔任社團法人台灣非視覺美學教育協會理事長,以及聯合國科教文國際藝術教育學會亞洲區委員會秘書｡曾擔任國立臺灣美術館策展人暨副研究員,新竹市立美術館與鶯歌陶瓷博物館館諮詢委員｡曾策劃《國美4.0建築事件簿》､《時.光.機:從古典到當代攝影藝術教育展》､《用手去看見世界》､《汩汩之島:原鄉､異景､流變》等展覽,並曾籌辦｢2021威尼斯建築雙年展臺灣館｣､｢第二屆臺灣國際光影藝術節｣等國際展覽｡目前研究著重於非視覺藝術､觸覺認知､通用設計等社會議題,並以數位策展為教學主軸,除持續研發教材,研究文章發表於“Perception”､“ Attention”, Perception,& Psychophysics”､“Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness”､《臺灣美術》､《博物館學季刊》､《博物館與文化》等期刊｡曾榮獲第四屆台新藝術獎視覺藝術類大獎､教育部藝術教育貢獻獎､國立綜合大學研究傑出獎等｡目前正進行色彩聯覺科技研發,持續與日本､義大利､加拿大等國際學者合作研究非視覺藝術創新型態與社會包容多樣性展演｡

Dr. Hsin-Yi Chao is Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Psychology, University of Toronto; PhD in Architecture from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology; Master of Fine Arts from the Graduate Institute of Arts, National Taipei University of Education. Currently, Hsin-Yi Chao serves as a Distinguished Assistant Professor in the Program in Digital Humanities and Cultural and Creative Industries and the Graduate Institute of Library and Information Science at National Chung Hsing University, where she also holds the position of supervisor of the University History Museum. She also works as the president of Taiwan Art Beyond Vision, and Sectary of Asian Regional Council of International Society for Education through Art. Previously, Chao worked as a curator and associate researcher at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and invited as an advisory tee member for the Hsinchu City Art Museum and the Yingge Ceramics Museum. Chao has curated exhibitions such as “Architectural Files of NTMoFA 4.0”, “Time Machine: From Classical to Contemporary Photography Education Exhibition”, “Seeing the World through TTouching”, and “Gurgling Island: Indigenous Homelands, Alien Landscapes, and Transformations”. Chao has also organized the “Taiwan Pavilion at the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale” and the “2nd Taiwan International Light Art Festival”.Chao′s current research focuses on social issues such as non-visual art, tactile cognition, and universal design, with digital curating as the core of their teaching. Her articles have been published in journals such as Perception, Attention, Perception, & Psychophysics, Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness, Journal of National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Museology Quarterly, and Museums and Culture. Chao has received several awards, including the Visual Arts Grand Prize at the 4th Taishin Arts Award, the Ministry of Education’s Contribution to Arts Education Award, and the Outstanding Research Award from National Comprehensive Universities. Currently, Chao is engaged in the research and development of color synesthesia technology, continuing to explore innovative forms, exhibitions, and performances of non-visual art and promoting social diversity and inclusion with Japanese, Italian, and Canadian scholars.
